Caring about our communities is a cornerstone of Alpine’s corporate citizenship. Through a combination of charitable donations and the dedicated involvement of our employees, Alpine supports organizations and activities that make our communities good places to live and work.
The Alpine Communications Technology Grant Program was established to provide technology tools and communications services to nonprofit organizations. Technology strengthens our communities and enables us to communicate in engaging and interactive ways. Alpine supports endeavors that enhance the quality of life in our communities through the use of technology and communications.
Organizations can apply for grants towards services that can be purchased from or through Alpine Communications. These items would include, but are not limited to: TVs, PCs, Networking, Security Systems, Internet services, and SecureIT services.
Grant requests will be accepted from organizations residing in an Alpine Communications telephone exchange – 245, 426, 873, 964, 252, or 255 – and subscribe to Alpine telephone service. Grant requests are accepted and reviewed throughout the year. Each request is reviewed to determine its general eligibility and conformity to Alpine Communications charitable giving priorities, the year’s contributions budget and geographical considerations. Requests cannot be evaluated over the telephone.
The questions on the application reflect the general interests and concerns of Alpine Communications, LC, but are not intended to be conclusive. Additional information pertinent to your project should be included.
Grant support is not available to individuals, religious programs of churches or other sectarian organizations and programs designed to influence legislation or elect candidates to public offices. Support usually is not available for fraternal organizations, such as police or fire associations, scholarships, fellowships and travel grants, conference or seminar attendance, consulting fees, specialized health campaigns and endowment campaigns.
Alpine Communications receives many more requests for support than it has funds available to contribute. A decision not to support a particular request should not be considered a reflection of its merits. Organizations may not apply more than once per calendar year.
