Disaster recovery donations being accepted

The Clayton County Disaster Recovery Committee (CCDRC) is accepting monetary donations for Clayton County flood victims. Checks may be sent to CCDRC, PO Box 48, St. Olaf, IA, 52072. For further information, call 563-783-7794. Donations are tax deductible.

Food for flood victims may be delivered to the Clayton County Food Shelf in St. Olaf. They can be reached at 563-783-7794.

Anyone wanting to donate furniture and appliances to residents of Elkader, may call Elkader City Hall at 563-245-2098.

Flood victims may contact the Clayton County Food Shelf and Shephard of the Hills for any of the items listed above. Their hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00 p.m.
